Jug of the Month - February
A Midwinter jug. The shape is Fine designed by the Marquis of Queensbury. The pattern is Kismet, designed by Joti Bhowmik and described in the Steven Jenkins book about Midwinter as ‘A border pattern of onion shaped motifs in brown, blue, orange and mustard.’ It was produced from 1968-1974.
The same pattern in blue, purple, green and mustard is called Bengal....
