New Designers
Off to London tomorrow to set up for New Designers. Bath Spa are at stand CG2 Wednesday to Saturday. Meeting my kaleidoscope there. Staying with lovely friend S in Richmond, even though I wouldn't let her stay with me earlier this year because of the busyness going on. Thankyou S!

Jug of the Month - June
Jo's Jugs! These slipcast water jugs in black and white feature a scanned image of a factory produced jug form the 1960s. I like the pattern made by the handle of the jug and handle in the image here....
And the way the spout on the jug mirrors the spout in the transfer image here...
Here's an early model with a black transfer on a white jug. I didn't like the sharp edge of the transfer...
These are better with a black transfer on a black jug, but I'm still not happy with the difference in the two blacks and want the edges of the transfer to disappear...
These are the original scans of the Bristol Long Line jug...
And how the work looked at my degree show...

Pot Sale
A sunny day for the pot sale at university. Lots of jugs with small cracks in their bases and wobbly transfers gone to new homes. Thanks to R for making my work look pretty when I nipped for a drink.
Finished
Degree show down and packed up. Shelves cleared. That was that. Uni finished. Tried to be a bit organised with my packing. Some boxes for New Designers. Some work to be sold at Hatfield. Some seconds for the pot sale at university. So a few things in the diary for now.

Photo Etching
Making a price list for the degree show tomorrow and struggling with the ££££. No idea what things should cost. I use the price calculator guides we've been given but I don't believe the answer when I get to the end.

New & Improved
I've been improving my blog with pages (at the top) and labels (at the side). So you can now read all of my Jug of the Month posts in one go, or recap on all my positive thoughts about the Sion Hill library.

Missy Cat
Lovely to find Missy cat quietly working on some porcelain throwing downstairs while the degree show was being set up upstairs.
Last Day
I took photos but won't put them on here till the degree show opens. Instead, here are my shelves at the end of the day.

18 Hours To Go
It's midnight. 18 hours to the final deadline tomorrow. Here's a picture of my first display at the end of the first semester in my first year. And tomorrow I'll take a photo of my last display.
