Made in Bristol Colston Hall

Had a great day at Colson Hall with M. In between sales we made our usual plans for the year ahead. What to make, where to sell, how to exhibit. We've got it all sorted now. Again.....

Made in Bristol Gift Fair @ Colston Hall

Space One will be at the Colston Hall on Saturday November 30th. Aim is to earn more than I spend. Always tempted by such lovely things at this Gift Fair.

Kiln

Loaded a kiln for the first time this year. Brooches and Christmas decorations and an experimental fruit bowl.

Knife Fork Spoon

No such thing as an original idea. Inspired by the Long Line Bristol and Barker Bros cutlery pieces, some brooches and Christmas decorations. If they work out I'll use the design on some thrown pieces. I fancy a wobbly plate with this design. Or a jug!

Spiral

Playing with spirals again. I used to make spiral pieces before my degree at evening classes in Chippenham. It was very therapeutic doing these repetitive pieces once a week. This might be a fruit bowl when it grows up.

Bad Fruit Bowl

Not been on the wheel for nearly a year and it shows. Made this terrible fruit bowl or cake stand. Wonder if it can be rescued with quite a lot of glaze? I think it may be beyond that. How do people do that flowing fluid porcelain thing? Jealous.

Art on the Hill 2013

Art on the Hill weekend. Great food and a chance to have a natter in the Windmill pub, with a steady stream of customers.

Gaudy Circles

More circles. A bit on the bright side. I don't have a plan for what to do them. I'll just keep making them for now.

Circles on Slate

Love the colours. Love the circles all together. No idea what to do with them...

Been spending hours doodling on the iPad app 53.
