Jug of the Month - October

 

I didn't buy this Richard Godfery jug at Hatfield, and I didn't buy this jug at Art in Action. I nearly bought this jug in the Devon Guild of Craftsmen shop but I resisted. I finally succumbed at the Oxford Ceramics Fair. It cheers me up very much.

Art on the Hill

 

Spent a whole weekend in The Windmill pub in Bristol, on the Art on the Hill arts trail. We now want to do all our selling in pubs. This is the future. Pies, pints and pottery.

Hand and Wheel

 

 

Caught up with lots of friends at Hand and Wheel at Ashton Court. Much excitement when Dixie from Casualty bought two of Martha's brooches. Everyone knows how good I am at being calm near famous people.

Up In Lights

 

Went to the launch of Art on the Hill at Motorcade Flashparade. J and I spent a good while watching the slide show waiting for our work to appear. Great to see our work up in lights.

Jug of the Month - September

 

Another Gordon Whittle jug. I only threw twice at his evening class. The first time went well and I decided I was a natural. The second time was a disaster and so of course I gave up forever. Gordon's glazes are beautiful.
