Exhibiting with Space One at the American Museum in Bath for three days, Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December, from 12 - 4:30pm.

For the very first time the museum is hosting a Christmas craft fair to coincide with the Christmas displays and shops. In the Stables and Coach House mainly local craftspeople will be selling their unique handmade gifts, perfect for the festive season. Had a great day at Colson Hall with M. In between sales we made our usual plans for the year ahead. What to make, where to sell, how to exhibit. We've got it all sorted now. Again.....

Space One will be at the Colston Hall on Saturday November 30th. Aim is to earn more than I spend. Always tempted by such lovely things at this Gift Fair.

 

 

Art on the Hill 2013

 

Art on the Hill weekend. Great food and a chance to have a natter in the Windmill pub, with a steady stream of customers.

 

 

 

Frome Art Car Boot

 

Such a hot day. Didn't burn to a crisp because I was smothered in factor 50 but I was almost as red as these glowing jugs. Need a gazebo I think.

 

 

 

Wooden Fruit Box

 

Dad has found me some wooden fruit boxes to store and display my work. I know the whole world has these and they aren't very original, but I wanted to join the club.

Frome Tower

 

Spent two days in Frome in the Black Swan tower. Displayed jugs with the handles for the first time. They photograph well... 

 

 

Black Swan Christmas Handmade Fayre

 

We're splitting the Space One team to be at two Fayres at once this weekend. On Saturday 15th I'll be in Frome at the Black Swan Christmas Handmade Fayre from 10am until 4.30pm, and Martha and Jane will be at Made in Bristol, Colston Hall from 10am - 4pm. Then on Sunday we'll all be in Frome together for day two of the Black Swan Christmas Handmade Fayre.

Smiths Row at Christmas

 

Delighted to send twenty jugs to Smiths Row in Bury St Edmunds for their 'Smiths Row at Christmas' exhibition. It runs from 17th November to 24th December. 

 

 

Art on the Hill

 

Spent a whole weekend in The Windmill pub in Bristol, on the Art on the Hill arts trail. We now want to do all our selling in pubs. This is the future. Pies, pints and pottery.

Hand and Wheel

 

 

Caught up with lots of friends at Hand and Wheel at Ashton Court. Much excitement when Dixie from Casualty bought two of Martha's brooches. Everyone knows how good I am at being calm near famous people.

Smiths Row

 

Dropped in to Smiths Row in Bury St Edmunds. A really lovely shop and exhibition space. And four of my blue jugs on the counter. I was a bit excited and may have called out "I made those" and made people jump. Very pleased to be making some more jugs for Smiths Row at Christmas.

 

Jiq Jaq Contemporary Art

Just sent 30 jugs to the Jiq Jaq gallery in Hampstead for their window. My pieces will accompany pigment prints by artist Marylin Koan in an exhibition called 'Magic in the Air and Other Imaginings', running from August 31st to October 9th. The gallery website is here...
